Here we are.
Summer has brought me heavy heat, high gas prices and two jobs. I hate working, for the most part, and it leaves me with very little free time. Money (or lack thereof) has remained a constant stressor, and I'm afraid to buy anything other than the necessities. Not that summer's all bad, though; time I have outside of work lets me enjoy semi-successful endeavors such as vegetarian cooking and learning to play tennis! I've also gotten time in to read a few books and to spend time with the folks I love.
Point is--I'm ready to go back to school. I'm ready to work less and to study more. I want to start my new classes! There are also a lot of people I want to see that I haven't spent time with alllll summer.
Onward, then:
Yesterday I got all of my living situation business done by securing an apartment in Conway for this school-year. Hurrah, hooray, College View. The apartment is small (huh, let's go with "cozy"), but it'll definitely work. Plus, I'll be rooming with a lovely lady of Hendrix College named CC. However, while both of us are fine and dandy people, we are also furniture-less people. Hopefully yard sales and Goodwill will rid us of that problem. Please feel free to share ideas if you know of any good places to find furniture in Conway.
Oh, and on a completely unrelated note: Sprouting a wisdom tooth is incredibly painful! I recommend avoiding it at all costs.
